Project Description
I would like to have a volunteer drive me around to run errands. I like grocery shopping at Ruler, Aldi, Dollar Tree and need to run to the bank and BMV, too. I moved to Evansville during the pandemic and have Stage 4 COPD so I wasn't able to get out much to meet new people. I don't have any family here to lean on for help so I am having to pay for cabs every time I need a ride. Because of my COPD, I will wear a mask and would appreciate it if you also did, but it is optional. I also would need a cigarette lighter to plug in the charger for my portable oxygen machine. I can chip in for gas money. Weekday mornings work best for me before stores get too crowded. (Note from Hannah: Ruth also mentioned that she doesn't really have anyone to hang out with here and would love to just have someone to share a laugh with and maybe grab a bite to eat. She definitely needs a driver but could also use a friend)
